CHRISTMAS GERMAN ACTIVITIES PERFECT FOR DEVELOPING GERMAN LANGUAGE SKILLS AS WELL AS PRACTISING AND REVISING 99 ESSENTIAL GERMAN VERBS - TWO GREAT GAMES AND CHALLENGES TO KEEP YOUR STUDENTS JOYFUL AT CHRISTMAS!

I HAVE, WHO HAS? is a great game language learning game. The repetitive nature of the questions and answers make it perfect for practising, refreshing and embedding essential high-frequency german verbs. It’s a whole-group communicative game, with a multi-skill focus on speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary-building and developing accurate pronunciation. The game really does help to create a lively language learning environment, and is a great alternative to more traditional ‘drilling’ activities.

This set features 99 high-frequency German verbs with two games and two challenges - lots of walking and talking to get your students on their feet, and keep them joyful at CHRISTMAS! Play at regular and frequent intervals throughout December - against a timer in teams works well - can students beat their own time record?

CHILLOUT CHALLENGE features the GERMAN verbs in alphabetical order, with the question: ICH HABE… WER HAT?

CHAMPION CHALLENGE features the verbs in topsy-turvy order, which really encourages your students to focus on the verbs, and asks the question: HAST DU…? with the response JA, ICH HABE…

The games work well if you’re homeschooling too: simply change the German phrases to: HIER IST… WO IST… ?

I’ve included a full German-English alphabetical list of all verbs, which students find useful as a learning support and reference resource, not only at CHRISTMAS time, but across the entire school year.
