This is a series of 20 lessons that teach ‘Great Expectations’ via 15 key extracts. It is aimed at lower Key Stage 3 or SEND students as it doesn’t require reading the whole novel. Each lesson is a PowerPoint that follows the same structure. There are slides to support text analysis tasks, role play activities to broaden understanding and links to relevant film clips to embed ideas further. Texts that the students will write have been modelled. There is also a Word booklet that contains all the extracts used.
