A Comedy Halloween Script for Young Actors
What happens when Halloween characters need a little therapy of their own? Welcome to HALLOWEEN ANONYMOUS, a hilarious group therapy session where supernatural characters gather to share their fears, frustrations and personal problems.
Vincent the Vampire is terrified of garlic, Wanda the Witch has lost her magical confidence, and Gertie the Ghost is frightened of the dark. Meanwhile, Frankenstein’s Monster is tired of being judged by his appearance, the Mummy is falling apart, and Zombie Zed is struggling to remember anything. Add a Skeleton who laughs at absolutely everything and a Werewolf who cannot control his temper, and you have one very unusual therapy session!
Fortunately, Dr Bones is on hand to help them overcome their problems. However, when an unexpected revelation turns the meeting upside down, the group discovers that their therapist might not be quite who they think he is!
Approximate running time: 10 to 15 minutes.
Cast size: 8 to 15 performers.
Suitable for: Primary and lower secondary Drama groups.
