Henry VIII Drama SOW

This PowerPoint includes six lessons about Henry the 8th and his wives. Here Drama is used as a tool to explore History. This SOW would be ideal for KS2/KS3 students.

Students will understand how to create a good tableau and techniques needed to do this
Students can give a definition of aside and use aside in a performance
Students will create a performance using emotional memory to evoke sympathy from an audience
Students will use proximity to establish relationships between characters
Students will improve on vocal skills in performances
Students will create character intentions and reflect on/ justify their choices
Students will use Drama as tool to explore History
