The overall aims of this scheme of work is to encourage students to be more creative in their devised performances. This SOW is aimed at KS3 and would be perfect for a Year 8 or Year 9 class. It could also be adapted for a younger class or GCSE. The aims of the SOW include: learn what a stimulus is explore a range of auditory stimuli respond to a range of auditory stimuli devise performances to music work with a section of script complete a practical assessment complete a written assessment The PowerPoint is ready to be used in lessons and all resources are included in the slides. This resource is a full unit of work exploring the work of Antonin Artaud. It is a six lesson SOW which could easily be extended to seven or eight lessons. This unit of work encompasses the whole syllabus from the LAMDA communication Verse & Prose exams. The unit of work includes nearly 200 slides assisting with the LAMDA exams. For each stage the exam is outlined, there are at least five lesson plans, a mock exam and feedback. Some but not all resources are included. This unit of work could also be used to plan a years work for a school or assist with other drama exams which require learning poetry or prose. The SOW also links to English & Media lessons. Some but not all resources are provided, all other resources can be located on the LAMDA website. Approximately 80 practical Drama lessons are included in this pack, along with research tasks and assessments + criteria. *I do not own any media, images, LAMDA content, stories, text, script, music or workshop activities included in this PowerPoint*

This PowerPoint contains three sessions all about getting to know your primary class. The sessions are practical, easy to manage and simple. Each session has a different theme for getting to know your class and the class getting to know each other. Unit 2 - This unit of work is an extension from my Titanic unit. This SOW looks at the conspiracies behind Titanic and uses drama as a tool to explore history. Within the unit students will learn about different individuals on the ship and improve their character skills. They will learn new techniques, complete written and practical tasks. The unit also involves a large amount of reading and encourages students to rehearse independently with less involvement/ aid from the teacher. This unit of work uses her and her songs as inspiration to create theatre performances. This is a four lesson unit of work encouraging young children to perform poetry. Each lesson is scaffold-ed so that every child can achieve and have fun performing poetry. There are whole class activities and group activities. This unit of work also includes two resources with age-appropriate poems but you would be able to interchange your own poetry easily. The presentation is colourful and interactive but the reliance is on teaching these lessons with energy and enthusiasm, getting little ones excited about reading and performing poetry. ****I do not own any of the poems or pictures included in the presentation.
