A set of two jigsaw puzzles covering highest common factors and lowest common multiples of pairs of numbers. For each puzzle your students need to answer the 30 questions in order to fit together the 24 triangular pieces into one large hexagon. These puzzles make a great lesson starter activity and are ideal for testing the previous lesson’s learning or as a reminder warm-up activity.
Puzzle one consists of finding the highest common factor of pairs of numbers, while puzzle two is finding the lowest common multiple of pairs of numbers.
All files are in PDF format with answer sheets included.
