- Television programs (cartoons and live action). It includes links to clips from Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie on YouTube.
- Hobbies (categorised into: outdoor activities, music / dance, crafts + DIY, entertainment and leisure).
- Toys which were popular in this decade.
- Technology from this decade (e.g. bubble wrap, lava lamps, cassette tapes).
- Important events – the Cold War, Civil Rights Movement, Women’s Rights Movements, Assassination of JFK.
- Beliefs and values (e.g. equality, rebelling against the establishment, peace, love, anti-war)
