These are cards I have stuck around my writing display as a visual reminder to my Year 1 class of what we need to remember to be a successful writer.
It has your basics of capital letters and full stops but also encourages the use of prefixes and suffixes as well as the conjunction ‘because’.
The children can independently use the display to support them in their writing and is used as a constant reminder.
