A step by step, scaffolded approach to teaching your students how to write a three paragraph personal narrative with; beginning (problem), middle, end (solution and transformation).

There are two writing models. Each of which has a graphic organizer to aid students in deconstructing the structure of the narrative. There is also a matching graphic organizer for brainstorming. This process helps students to intuit the structure of the writing.

It draws attention to a six-step writing process; brainstorm, draft, share, edit, revise and publish.

There are check boxes to aid students and teacher in monitoring their progress through a writing process.

The workbook is printed on loose leaf notebook style paper. This is useful if you live overseas and have trouble finding the traditional loose leaf paper sold in North America. An extra blank page is provided for this reason.

A second version is provided for some of the pages to account for variations in US/UK spelling.
