This resource is designed to allow tutors to test student knowledge and understanding of the concepts covered in Unit 1 on Marketing & People. It is equally set up for students of the UK A level Edexcel curriculum as well as the IAL version.

The assessment is designed to last for one hour, with 40 marks available. It includes a clear and detailed mark-scheme which students may find useful once they have tried the test, in order to give them a fuller idea of the potential ways in which they may try to answer these types of questions.

The answer-scheme also includes a suggested-only guide to offering grades to students, based on the grade boundaries in previous Edexcel A level and IAL level examinations. This material may be used as a progress test or indeed as a mock examination by centres, provided that they are confident that students have not had access to the material in advance.

It is strongly suggested that tutors remove the links to Frank BIZ Resources and to the TES shop and blog site, prior to printing out copies for the students. This will allow tutors to use other assessment materials from Frank BIZ Resources in the future, without the fear that students may have downloaded their own paid-for copies of the material in advance.
