This download is for a differentiated ICT Suite lesson worksheet/instructional template with complete session instructions (PowerPoint).

It includes a PPT file with instructions for students and 3 AfL slides to test learning as well as a double-sided customisable worksheet with integrated peer-assessment.

It is a tried and tested method: I have used it in Sociology, RE, Philosophy & Citizenship classes.

This resource can be customised for any subject and virtually any topic. It is suitable for any age, assuming they have basic PPT/Prezi and internet research skills. Teachers simply need to enter topics/rubrics for students to research and present on: separating them into the 'basic', 'medium' and 'advanced' differentiation categories.

Students will need access to computers which have presentation design software installed (e.g. PowerPoint, Prezi etc)

It can also be set as a homework task for students to complete at home.

Because the worksheet allows students to select from various topics, organised in terms of their difficulty, it is a clearly differentiated resource; it also features integrated peer assessment with clear assessment criteria.

It asks students to create presentation with quiz questions and lists differentiated options for them to choose from.

The reverse of the A4 sheet features peer-assessment tables for students to rate one another's work according to specified criteria.

The lesson should, ideally, use 40 minutes for students to create the presentation in pairs and then 20 minutes to quiz and peer assess one another. The worksheet is easily customisable to other topics.
