Improving boys' progress

This is my way of tracking boys in our school for attendance to after school revision sessions. Those subjects that are boy heavy earn double points. Each boy is put in a team with a staff member as their coach who encourages them to go to the sessions. League tables are advertised around the school on plasma screens (including Most Valuable Player). They can get bonus points if every student is not late to school (you could probably give them red & yellow cards to take points off if you wish). A small weekly budget for the teams and prizes at the end help. Two of the positions are reserved for Pupil Premium students (so coaches know who they are).
