This is an interactive Excel model which is useful for SLT when planning their term dates for the coming 2018/2019 academic year.
By shading each of the dates a certain colour (e.g. green represents a day when both students and staff are present at school) - the model will calculate how many of each day are present in the academic year.
This is most useful when considering where and when to place staff training days, school holidays and start/ed of term dates to minimise impact on student attendance/attainment in the run up and return from holidays!
It is closely based on a standard LA term dates layout so that it can be easily shared with staff when complete.
