Do you have pupils who love Maths? Do you have pupils who also love Religious Education? If so, this is the activity for them!

Regardless of their age, all students love puzzles. Learning and fun at the same time! When learning about Buddhism, engage your students with these 5 excellent activities which have the advantage of combining their Maths skills with the enjoyment of playing! They were designed not just for creating ‘busy-work’ for students, but for engaging the students in the learning process and enhancing their learning experience.

The sentences were developed in alignment with the learning objectives for the lesson: ‘Introduction to Buddhism’:
✶ to identify 2-3 facts about Buddhism;
✶ to explain the key words: ‘the Buddha’, ‘enlightenment’ and ‘the Middle Way’.

The activities are suitable to be used for homework or during class activities (as starter or plenary). The answers are included! The activities have been created in both colour and blackline for your convenience.

    Bought as a bigger bundle. Great resource for incorporating numeracy into lessons on Buddhism. This has saved me planning.
