Invasion Games - Teaching Games for Understanding

8 invasion game lessons that include an arrival activity, main activity and game along with clear differentiation options through the STEP principle. Each game has a visual design and set up instructions underpinned by a ‘PE Focus’ that has extracted from the PE National Curriculum.

These games are ideal for all pupils in Key Stage 2 and can be easily modified to suit wide ranging needs. All activities can be delivered in a large playground, school field, MUGA etc. and provide opportunities for pupils to take responsibility for their own learning through the independent nature of the lessons - this includes officiating, communication, and managing equipment and time.
