Investigating your own perceptions
In this lesson, students will be introduced to and explore the issues of identity, diversity, prejudice and discrimination within their own community. Students will start by exploring the meaning of discrimination and prejudice in general and then relate this learning to their own communities. They will also have the opportunity to learn about the legislation and conventions that shape society's attitudes.
