We have so many literacy, numeracy, wellbeing, cultural and other skills built into our subject that we teach our students to seamlessly incorporate them into their daily lives through just ‘cooking’. Majority of the time our students and their parents don’t even know how much more we are actually teaching them.
This poster provides a small snapshot, in an easy to read manner, of the skills developed through cooking. It’s the perfect thing to refer anyone to when they degrade you and say ‘it’s just cooking’.
