A ‘cluedo’ style activity lesson in which students make predictions about who the victim, perpetrator, location, weapon and witness could be in ‘The Carew Murder Case’ PRIOR to having read the chapter.

Pupils make a general guess from the cards, then use the quote clues to improve their prediction before reading the chapter and reflecting on it.

Great resource for creating intrigue and introducing the events, suitable for KS3 AND KS4.
