Students play an OJ criminal vs. civil law game. A complete powerpoint show which can be imported into smart boards.

This has the usual escalating difficulty of questions which is the basis for the Jeopardy show.

My OJ materials are among my best selling. The cases work very well on illustrating the vast differences between civil and criminal trials. My students had a much better grasp of the different burdens of proof by the time we finished covering it. No other way I tried to explain them worked as well. They did understand how there was an acquittal in the criminal yet liability in the civil when we were done. This is no small matter when teaching law.

I am a retired lawyer, law instructor and published legal textbook author.
