Students combine figure drawing, pattern, colour and movement to create their own Keith Haring-inspired Pattern People.

The main activity asks students to fill bold outlined characters with repeated patterns such as stripes, dots, waves and zigzags before adding movement lines and bright colours.

The extension challenges students to develop several patterned characters into a lively group composition.

Ideal for KS3 Art, pattern projects, figure drawing, Keith Haring studies, cover lessons and independent activities.
