Key Stage 1 Multi Skills Unit of Work

This is 6 lesson scheme of work focusing on multi-skill development in key stage one pupils with a theme of animals and vehicles used throughout to drive pupil learning.

Each lesson outlines learning objectives, activities, resources, and learning outcomes along with instructions for warm-up, skill development and game components with a concluding plenary.

Topics cascade and develop each lesson covering locomotion, balance (static and dynamic), agility , and hand-eye coordination. Simple resources are used such as cones, spots, bean bags, hoops and small balls. Lessons can be adapted to suit indoor and outdoor facilities for a small and larger spaces.
