Purpose: Identify and explain word meaning the meaning of key words and concepts; create visual representation of words and learn new words.

The KIM chart is a simple strategy for teaching vocabulary words and new
concepts.
A KIM chart has three columns:
K-Key Word or Concept
I- Definition of the word or information that matches the key idea M-Memory clue, a picture or visual representation of the concept
