This is a Kodu Game Lab and SmallBasic Scheme of work available here. All lesson resources and plans are available.

The booklet covers the basics of computational thinking and game design using Kodu Game Lab and Microsoft SmallBasic.

There are 7 double lessons (or 14 single) that covers information on Binary and high level programming languages, planning sheets for a Kodu game including flowcharts, Kodu and Small Basic tutorials, peer assessment, test tables and an evaluation.

Full levels provided in form of tick sheets for easy assessment. These are broken down into 4 key areas; Research and Development, Creativity and Production, Technical Understanding and Testing and Evaluation.

All evidence of progress is collated into this booklet.

Scheme of work is mapped against the new Computing curriculum and covers 5 of the 8 new KS3 strands.
