KS1 early number activities - 1 - 20

Supports number development in KS1, ideal for EYFS/Year 1 and as intervention or consolidation in Year 2. The activities are practical, engaging and designed to build strong number sense through hands-on learning.

• drawing numbers of items 1–10 and 1–20, supporting number formation and fine motor skills.
• recognise and identify number of items 1–10 and 1–20, reinforcing numeral awareness and confidence.
• practise finding 1 more and 1 less, developing early understanding of number relationships.
• find the missing number in a sequence, strengthening counting skills and number order.
