KS1 Visual Timetable and Now and Next Set

A clear, calm visual timetable for KS1 classrooms and home. Children see what is happening now, what comes next and what has finished, using simple picture cards with a word label on every card.

The set has three boards for three levels (● ●● ●●●): a Now and Next board for a child who needs one step at a time, a First, Then, Next strip for short sequences, and an ‘Our day’ timetable with eight slots and a ‘Finished’ space for the whole day. Start with the board that suits the child and move on when they’re ready.

There are 48 picture cards in four colour-banded groups: routines, lessons, other times, and changes and support. The ‘Something different’ card lets you show a change before it happens, and ‘Wait’, ‘Help’, ‘Break’ and ‘Finished’ help with the moments in between. Twelve blank cards let you draw or write anything else your day needs.

Card names follow the subjects in the national curriculum for England (key stage 1), with UK school routines such as Attendance, Assembly, Playtime, Wet play and Forest school.

Great for: KS1 classrooms, SEN and nurture groups, one-to-one support, transitions and changes to the day, and routines at home.

FORMAT
Nothing is posted. Print, laminate and cut; add hook-and-loop dots to the cards and board slots. Every card has a word label, so the set still works printed in black and white. Written in UK English.
