KS3 Activate 'Structure and function of human body systems' FULL TOPIC

This unit of work contains six 1-hour lesson resources (plus a knowledge organiser) designed for a mixed ability year 7 class.
This unit follows "Chapter 2 -Structure and function of human body systems” from Activate 1, Biology.
However, it would be suitable for any KS3 curriculum studying biology.

This unit of work is designed to be engaging and interactive, with plenty of practical demonstrations and teacher models.
The lessons are designed so that they can be delivered by any member of staff, regardless of whether biology is their specialism. They are also suitable for students working outside the classroom, e.g. in isolation.

The lessons are designed to be delivered in this order:

1. Levels of organisation
2. Gas exchange
3. Breathing
4. Skeleton
5. Movement: joints
6. Movement: muscles
