This is a resource that I use with Y7 or Y8 French classes to introduce or revisit the grammar around forming the present tense.
I introduce the pronouns, regular -er verb endings (I call them 'petal endings') and show what to do if you start with an infinitive.
There are a few slides you could print off as worksheets too including circling the correct verb, translating short phrases, putting a text in order and a crossword, as well as some slides you could use with whiteboards to build confidence at first.
For more able classes there are dominoes you could use to introduce them into writing their own text too.
There is enough material for 2 lessons worth here.
