A complete project to create a 3D sea-life sculpture.
This is a complete project. There is a suggested weekly plan of lessons. Each lesson has a full instruction slide to help students orgainise their work. Slides showing exemplar student work, examples to ilustrate how each task should be tackled by the students. There is also template sheets, homework and assessment sheets at the end of the presentation.
Students will learn key drawing and rendering skills. Observe the work of Ernst Haeckel, research aboriginal art and conduct observational studies of shells.
As part of the projects students will have the opportunity to develop key mark making and rendering techniques, discuss and explore their ideas, create observational studies of the work of other artists & traditional techniques used in other countries, they will generate artwork of their own based on the observations that they have done and finally create a 3D final piece of work to showcase the research, skills and observations that they have carried out.
