This is a pack containing a work booklet for mainstream learners and a scaffolded/differentiated version covering 9 lessons and 9 accompanying PowerPoint presentations with answers for the booklets to allow self/peer assessment of notes. It builds towards a final extended writing piece with scaffolds and templates to help students produce a decent piece of work.

I designed this as in response to a number of students suggesting that Britain ‘won’ the Second World War. I wanted students to consider the wider picture and examine the American and Soviet contribution. Next year I want to look at the contribution of Empire as well (if you buy this pack now you’ll be able to download the improved version next year for free!)
