La Bretagne / Brittany - cultural unit for BGE

**BGE Students will discover this beautiful French region of Brittany by reading an article and answering some questions. They will discover the recipe of another traditional dessert than crepes ! They will also discover traditional French Celtic music coming from this region. Finally they will learn the difference between “un pirate” and “un corsaire” and visit the city of Saint Malo ! **

If you are looking for a break from textbooks and are willing to teach a cultural, interesting and different Unit, this is what you need !!

You will have :

1–> A powerpoint and keynote presentation that will be your lesson.
2 --> The magazine article and the questions as a document that you will be able to print for your students.
3–> The exercise on the traditional dessert that you will be able to print and the audio file that will allow your students to fill in the blanks.
4–> The exercise on the French song.
5 --> A video link on youtube in case the video doesn’t appear on the powerpoint.
6 --> Two little exercises to make them understand the difference between a pirate and a corsaire.
