La familia real española

If you want to link family with cultural elements about Spain, this is the perfect lesson.
It will consolidate the vocabulary about the family exposing the students to the Spanish Royal Family.
-It includes:
1.Starter ¿Qué hay en la foto?
2.Vocabulary presentatation: principe, rey, reina
3. Reading task: students have to read the text about Leonor (Spanish princess) and answer the questions in English about her family description.
4. Listening task: Sofía (Leonor´s sister) talks about her family. Students need to listen and answer the questions. The aduio is attached.
5. Guided writing task: Students to fill up the gaps with the relevant vocabulary.
6. Translation: Students to translate the paragraph thatthey wrote in the previous task.
7. Speaking: Students need to answer to the following questions:
¿Cuántas personas hay en la familia real española?

¿Quién es Leonor?

¿Quién es Felipe?

¿Quién es Letizia?

¿Quién es Sofía?
