A set of two lessons following Dynamo 1, Module 4.3 Qu’est-ce que tu manges au petit déjeuner? First lesson introduces breakfast foods vocabulary and the use of the partitive article through games, reading, speaking (with success criteria for peer assessment) and grammar exercises. Second lesson progresses to using boire and manger in the present tense through speaking and writing exercises. Students are also asked to think about the importance of breakfast through a listening exercise. Lessons conclude with a GCSE style role-play activity and extended writing task with success criteria to facilitate student self/peer assessment.
