Who has stolen the immortality potion?

This exciting murder mystery style activity for KS3-KS4 requires students to use their reading, speaking, listening and writing language skills, as well as their acting and problem solving skills to work out who has committed the crime, how and why.
This pack includes resources for several lessons. The conclusion reveals who committed the crime, how and why.

In addition to the instructions to play the game, the script, the clues and the character descriptions, there are additional resources included. These resources include:
Invitations
Key vocabulary list
Key grammar list
Newspaper templates in English and French for students to write a newspaper article about the crime. There is a support sheet in both English and French to help them write this.
Evidence sheet, so students can note the suspects and why they think they committed the crime.
Suspect writing template, so pupils can draw and write about their main suspect.
Police Incident Report in French with questions in English. There is a support sheet to accompany this task.
Declaration of the Accused sheet in French, so students can write a statement as the accused suspect. There is a support sheet to accompany this task.
Writing an interview as a journalist support sheet, so students can write an interview in French with one or more of the guests.
Le monde d’Halloween puzzle sheet (word search and crossword).
Le monde de Crime puzzle sheet (word search and crossword).

The script is for 25-30 students (plus the detective which I advise is played by the teacher). The five characters that can be eliminated from the script are highlighted in red on page 2. The characters include 3 which can be played by male, female or gender neutral.
