Learn colours- covers numeracy and literacy for SEN, Early Years and Primary.
Includes 8 worksheets to match colours (red, yellow, green, white, black, brown, purple, gold, orange, blue, grey and pink).
Suggested uses: Laminate the first and fifth worksheets. Cut out the colour boxes and colour name labels from the second and sixth worksheets and laminate these, then cut out. Use these to match both the colour and the colour name label to the original worksheets (from page 1 and 5).
Once the children appear to know these you could always cut up the original worksheets and make individual flashcards to check learning (and check they haven’t just memorised where they go).
Use the third and seventh worksheets for students to colour in by themselves to check learning.
The fourth and eighth worksheets are best laminated and students given a whiteboard pen to practice writing the name label. (I would start by having the laminated name label for them to copy, then gradually cover the letters one by one until they are able to produce the name label independently.
