This lesson teaches the topic of Causes of Crime. The pupils will describe the causes of crime and explain how crime can be caused out of necessity and does not always have evil intent. They will also evaluate the need to punish criminal when considering the causes of crime.

This 50 minute lesson includes:

Video link to a case study in the US about a women’s reform house.
Religious teaching analysis.
Numeracy Task (Venn Diagram).
Exam practices - 12 marks plan in class/homework to complete - can change to do 12 mark in class.
