Lesson 4 Animal Adaptation
This is a two part lesson and links to lesson 5 which is where students can design their own animal for the rainforest. The aim of this lesson is for students to understand how and why animals have adapted to different habitats. The lesson begins by looking at a variety of animals but then focuses on a Monkey towards the end of the lesson, which the students are to annotate its features. Students depending on time could begin to design their own animal, which are great for display work. If not they can begin designing it in lesson 5.
