Let's make New Year Bookmarks

Let’s Make New Year Bookmarks is a fun, creative resource designed for EYFS and KS1 children to celebrate the start of a new year while developing creativity and number awareness.
The resource includes four colourful, ready-designed January bookmarks, each with a matching black-and-white version for children to colour, with three bookmarks per page for easy printing.
A separate template page features just the days of January, giving children the opportunity to create their own bookmark by adding pictures, patterns and winter or New Year designs.
Once completed, the bookmarks can be used as mini January calendars, reading bookmarks or thoughtful New Year gifts.
They can be printed directly onto card or printed on paper and mounted onto card for extra durability.
This flexible activity provides useful links to learning about seasons, winter weather, New Year celebrations and number recognition, making it a useful addition to classroom provision, continuous provision, creative activities or seasonal topic work.
