Let's write with Christmas Word Walls

This Christmas vocabulary resource is ideal for KS1 and SEND children and is designed to support speaking, reading, writing and vocabulary development.
It includes a page featuring 110 Christmas-related words with symbols and some pictures to help children recognise and understand key vocabulary, alongside a text-only word wall for children who are ready to work more independently.
Two differentiated “All About Christmas” writing frames provide opportunities for children to write about Christmas at an appropriate level, while a list template can be used to organise vocabulary into themes such as Christmas food, weather, characters, decorations and clothing.
The resource also includes a collection of practical activity ideas for using the word walls with or without pictures and symbols, making it easy to adapt for whole-class teaching, small-group work, independent tasks or additional SEND support.
