Christmas is one of those holidays that most people and families look forward to. For children, the magic of Santa and the gifts that he brings is a major part of the festivities.

This Letter to Santa template is a great task for parents to do at home with their kids or teachers to facilitate in the last few lessons leading up to the Christmas break. Students/children simply need to fill in their name, age, list some of the good and kind things they have done throughout the year to have them on his NICE list, and then complete their wish list of gifts on the back. Quick and easy.

The thing that makes this template/task different to others is the space and encouragement for students/children to think about and write down HOW they have been good and kind this year. It really makes them think about WHY they should be placed on Santa’s NICE list and whether they deserve to be given gifts from Santa; and if they can’t think of anything…that’s a great opportunity for the adults in their lives to help them brainstorm what they could do for others - reminding them that it’s never too late to change their outlook on or behaviour in life.
