This is an introduction to Health Related Exercise for teenagers and adults with special educational needs. It is a full course and includes student worksheets, teaching slides and templates.

The resource is intended to introduce students to health related exercise, including:

  • Benefits of physical activity

Identify three personal benefits of regular exercise
Outline a personal weekly exercise plan
Demonstrate the principles of safe exercise practice eg. warming up, cooling down, wearing appropriate clothing
Maintain an exercise routine in a well structured environment
