Be ahead of the game and run a LGBTQ+ focused trip for secondary school aged students. Tried and tested with students from year 7 - year 11 with feedback including “the best day of school so far”. The trip includes:
- A walking tour on Manchester city centre’s LGBT+ history
- A visit to The Gay Pride Bookshop in Affleck’s Palace
- A cafe stop at the Feel Good Club.
The files for the trip include:
- The activity booklet PDF containing points of reflection for students and questions on history to be answered on the walking tour.
- An instructions file with postcodes and reccomendations during the organising stages.
I hope you enjoy this trip. It was one of the best days of my career and I know the students will remember it.
