Locating British Towns and Cities

These 20 activities are designed to be used as a starter or a plenary in a Geography/Humanities lesson. They can used as starter or plenary activities. There is also the potential to use in to provide meaningful activities for cover lessons.
For maximum effect they should be used on an interactive board or large screen display. Hyperlinks are embedded throughout the 62 slide presentation.
20 un-named British towns and cities are marked; pupils may use prior knowledge or Atlas at the teachers discretion to identify each city.
Notes on each town and city as well as “trivia” information can be used to stimulate discussion.
