London Case Study - Inequalities, Social Deprivation and Housing (AQA 9-1 Geo)
This is another lesson created for the AQA new specification, Urban issues and challenges. The Lesson looks at the part of the spec to cover a major city in the UK. Within the lesson there are questions analysing data about education and life expectancy, students then go on to categorise the issues associated with building on brownfield and greenfield sites. Students finish by deciding if building on green belt areas is the solution to London's housing issues. All worksheets for the lesson are included on the slides at the end of the powerpoint.
