This task allows students to practice the skill of written long division in context - perfect for developing an understanding of number, financial literacy, and division through an engaging scenario.
Students will act as travel agents and compare the best value holiday deals available, using long division to calculate daily cost for each holiday.
This activity also comes with an additional challenge to provoke higher order reasoning and develop mathematical thinking.
