A lesson on Act 3 Scene 1 from Macbeth. This lesson starts by focusing on what each main character is thinking at the end of Act 2, before going on to specifically analyse the language in Banquo's soliloquy; the interaction between Macbeth and Banquo; followed by Macbeth's soliloquy. Visual aids are used to help LA students understand Macbeth's position. There is a creative opportunity at the end of the lesson to help students reflect on how they think the scene should be performed.
