A fun instant download card game that helps players learn to spot major and minor seconds within the scales of C, F and G major. A great tool for assisting in learning sight singing at grade 1 level.

Inspired by the Jaws theme music, this game helps players learn to spot melodic intervals of major and minor second. Players race their fish to safety whilst trying to avoid the shark.

A game for up to 3 players.

Instructions have been provided for playing the game in person and remotely. Many teachers are currently having to come up with fun ideas to engage their students in online lessons. This is a great way to learn together whilst having fun!

Building in the understanding that a major second has two semitones and a minor second has one semi tone the game involves moving one and two spaces depending on the interval.

Your Shark Chase game includes:
1 playing board.
3 fish counters and 1 shark.
3 scale cards showing the scales of C Major, F Major and G Major to help players who are uncertain of the scales.
2 sets of key signature cards, one with the key signsture named, one without. Use whichever option is most suitable for your players.
2 sets of melodic interval cards, one with the minor seconds indicated with a picture of a shark, one set without sharks. Choose the set most suitable for your players.
