Two Year 9 PSHE lessons exploring money habits, needs and wants, and the influence of online advertising on everyday spending decisions.

Students consider why saving can be difficult, how others influence spending and what makes a money habit helpful or unhelpful. They then examine social media adverts and practise asking questions before making a purchase.

Includes starters, money-habit discussions, an independent needs-and-wants task, advertising examples, reflection and extension challenges.

Suitable for KS3 PSHE and financial education.
