An engaging Halloween observational drawing activity featuring a group of spooky Marshmallow Ghosts.
Students recreate the photographic image using the supplied 6 × 6 reference grid and corresponding blank drawing grid. The overlapping marshmallow forms provide an excellent opportunity to explore composition, proportion, depth and placement.
Students can also investigate subtle tonal changes across the white marshmallows, using careful pencil shading to distinguish individual forms and create a greater sense of three-dimensionality.
Ideal for KS3 Art, KS4 Art, GCSE drawing practice, Halloween cover lessons, homework, independent learning and art clubs.
