Science Year 2 National Curriculum
A good array of differentiated resources to support teaching and learning of the materials topic. Children look at each material and consider its uses and properties. They think about ‘What if…’ questions like -

  • what if a door handle was made out of chocolate?
  • would a snowman melt if it was covered with wooly clothes?
This is the perfect resource to support-
  • generating questions,
  • recording in tables
  • practical investigating

Suitable for the national curriculum and Scientific Enquiry for year 2 science curriculum.

Not worth the money in my opinion - all that is provided is what is seen on the preview. Not very differentiated or detailed.

The worksheets are well laid out and differentiated. It also pointed me towards the book "What if rain boots were made of paper?" so found the youtube version (as can't buy the book in the UK). The images on the powerpoint are pixelated and is basically a summary of the sequence of worksheets, not much additional info.
