Foundation GCSE maths number questions. It starts by comparing decimals and fractions, treating them like money: 0.07 < 0.7 and ¼ < 0.3. It then covers BIDMAS (43 × 8 − 234 ÷ 6 = 305, and using brackets to make four 4s equal 2 or 3) and place value (the 5 in 256 934 is worth 50 000). Word problems like the pet-food packs (round 5.47 up to 6) and the students in groups (21 each) come next. After that come factors, the LCM (60) and HCF (15), prime factors in index form (36 = 2² × 3²), and listing outcomes systematically (6 teams; the video says five). The index rules are to add, subtract or multiply the powers, and there’s a quick roots-and-powers check (√100 = 10, 13² = 169). The fraction problems give 72 L for the container and 15 for Chris’s age, and the quarter circle’s area is 9π. For standard form, 0.0000583 is 5.83 × 10⁻⁵ (the video says 10⁻⁴), and 7200 million ÷ 300 = 2.4 × 10⁷. The video ends with percentages, converting units and money, estimating by rounding to 1 significant figure, error intervals (11.5 ≤ h < 12.5) and upper bounds (maximum total £16.23).
